Boulder County Art Programs
We love to do arts and crafts in our family. And I believe it to be a healthy outlet for expressing emotions, developing patience and a stronger self-esteem. Our school district put on a showcase at the Boulder County Fairgrounds this last year and that makes me so happy.
If you are interested in getting your kids involved in a more formal art program than just the occasional arts and crafts at the kitchen table, here are some great programs offered in the Boulder County Area:
- Longmont Museum: The Longmont Museum offers a variety of art programs for all ages, including art exhibits, workshops, and artist talks.
- Art Lab at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art: This program offers art classes for kids as well as camps and workshops during the summer.
- Art Parts Creative Reuse Center: Located in Boulder, Art Parts offers a range of art classes for kids using recycled materials.
- Art Underground: This Longmont-based studio offers art classes and camps for kids, including pottery, painting, and drawing.
