Candlelight Dinner Theater – A White Christmas

Recently we enjoyed going to see A White Christmas as a fun mothers daughters girls’ night out!

One of the things that is so fun and unique that Candlelight Dinner Theater does, is creating food that goes along with the show theme. When we went for Cinderella back in the summer, it was French Onion Soup, bread pudding etc.

This menu was fun with the decade and had details like bright blue sparkly icing on the desserts to match the showgirls.

We enjoyed celebrating a few birthdays for our fun and they announce it to the audience if you would like to have the whole crew celebrate along with you. Even if that might mean embarrassing your sister a little lol.

If it has been a while since you have seen the show in person or the movie, here is a list of the songs! My personal fun favorites are “Sisters”, “Counting your Blessings” and the oh-so-dreamy dance routine scene of “The Best Things Happen While your Dancing“. That dress was my favorite and now I have new sewing goals.

  1. “Overture”
  2. “Happy Holidays”
  3. “Sisters”
  4. “Let Me Sing and I’m Happy”
  5. “Snow”
  6. “How Deep Is the Ocean?”
  7. “The Best Things Happen While You’re Dancing”
  8. “I Can’t Go on Living Without You”
  9. “I Love a Piano”
  10. “Blue Skies”
  11. “How Deep Is the Ocean? (Reprise)”
  12. “Counting your Blessings”
  13. “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm”
  14. “I’m Falling in Love with Someone”
  15. “What Can You Do with a General?”
  16. “Falling Out of Love Can Be Fun”
  17. “Love, You Didn’t Do Right by Me”
  18. “White Christmas”
  19. “Finale”

The Finale of snow drifting down onto the stage and everyone in the most Christmas festive attire gives you holiday-happy chills.

It was a great time. Can’t wait to plan our next girls’ night out!
